Abstract
Modern funding channels that supplement established mediators may present cybersecurity problems. Traditional investors work with artificial intelligence. In this chapter, the focus is on digitalization in the context of entrepreneurial finance. Crowdfunding platforms have become an alternative to meet the funding needs of entrepreneurs. Crowdfunding platforms have become an alternative for individuals who want to support social entrepreneurs and social enterprises because the financing of initiatives on the solution of social problems is provided by governments, companies and non-profit institutions. Literature shows that equal opportunities and benefits for disadvantaged groups can be created by social entrepreneurship. A snowball effect can be created by each project made to create social impact.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to investigate the fatigue crack propagation behavior of SiC particle-reinforced 2124 Al alloy composites under constant amplitude axial loading at a stress ratio of R = 0.1. For this purpose, it is performed experiments and comparatively analyze the results by producing 5, 10, 15 Vol.% SiCp-reinforced composites and unreinforced 2124 Al alloy billets with powder metallurgy (PM) production technique.
Design/methodology/approach
With the PM production technique, SiCp-reinforced composite and unreinforced 2124 Al alloy billets were produced at 5%, 10%, 15% volume ratios. After the produced billets were extruded and 5 mm thick plates were formed, tensile and fatigue crack propagation compact tensile (CT) samples were prepared. Optical microscope examinations were carried out to determine the microstructural properties of billet and samples. To determine the SiC particle–matrix interactions due to the composite microstructure, unlike the Al alloy, which affects the crack initiation life and crack propagation rate, detailed scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies have been carried out.
Findings
Optical microscope examinations for the determination of the microstructural properties of billet and samples showed that although SiC particles were rarely clustered in the Al alloy matrix, they were generally homogeneously dispersed. Fatigue crack propagation rates were determined experimentally. While the highest crack initiation resistance was achieved at 5% SiC volume ratio, the slowest crack propagation rate in the stable crack propagation region was found in the unreinforced 2124 Al alloy. At volume ratios greater than 5%, the number of crack initiation cycles decreases and the propagation rate increases.
Originality/value
As a requirement of damage tolerance design, the fatigue crack propagation rate and fatigue behavior of materials to be used in high-tech vehicles such as aircraft structural parts should be well characterized. Therefore, safer use of these materials in critical structural parts becomes widespread. In this study, besides measuring fatigue crack propagation rates, the mechanisms causing crack acceleration or deceleration were determined by applying detailed SEM examinations.

Abstract
Purpose
This research aims to find out whether intrinsic and extrinsic religiosity affect product attitude functions (value-expressive, social-adjustive).
Design/methodology/approach
The population of the research consists of Muslim consumers in Turkey and Christian consumers in Portugal. Using the convenience sampling method, the data was obtained from 800 questionnaire forms which consist of 400 forms filled by Muslim consumers in Turkey and 400 forms filled by Christian consumers in Portugal. Smart PLS 3 (Partial Least Squares) statistical program was used to test hypotheses.
Findings
Results of the analyses show that the intrinsic religiosity of Muslim Consumers living in Turkey and Christian consumers living in Portugal negatively affects the value-expressive and social adjustive attitude. Extrinsic religiosity, on the other hand, has been found to have a positive effect on the functions of value-expressive and social-adjustive attitudes within the consumers of both countries.
Originality/value
There are studies on religiosity and consumer attitudes in the Turkish literature (Kurtoglu and Çiçek, 2013; Uyar et al., 2020; Demirag et al., 2020). Religiosity dimensions (intrinsic/extrinsic religiosity); however, have been neglected in the Turkish literature. This study provides a detailed evaluation of the effect of these dimensions on the dependent variable. Additionally, this study emphasizes the relational aspect of attitude dependent variable and religiosity dimensions by approaching it through the context of value-expressive and social-adjustive attitude. Thus, it is aimed to help practitioners and the literature gain a different perspective by referring to the attitude functions whose foundations were laid in the studies of Smith et al. (1956), Katz (1960) and strengthened in studies like Wilcox et al. (2009). By comparing two different religions, the study results are analyzed in the context of different regions and cultures. This comparison can be beneficial both for local and international investors as religious and cultural factors play an important role in local and cultural investment decisions. The results of this study are thought to contribute to the consumer behavior literature and to public authorities in terms of evaluating the level of religiosity. In addition, this study can have practical results for the practitioners in both Portugal and Turkey.

Abstract
Purpose
This study aims to examine the impact of some real variables such as real effective exchange rates, real mortgage rates, real money supply, real construction cost index and housing sales on the real housing prices.
Design/methodology/approach
This study uses a nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (NARDL) model in the monthly period of 2010:1–2021:10.
Findings
The real effective exchange rate has a positive and symmetric effect. The decreasing effect of negative changes in real money supply on real housing prices is higher than the increasing effect of positive changes. Only positive changes in the real construction cost index have an increasing and statistically significant effect on real house prices, while only negative changes in housing sales have a small negative sign and a small increasing effect on housing prices. The fact that the positive and negative changes in real mortgage rates are negative and positive, respectively, indicates that both have a reducing effect on real housing prices.
Originality/value
This study suggests the first NARDL model that investigates the asymmetric effects on real housing prices instead of nominal housing prices for Turkey. In addition, the study is the first, to the best of the authors’ knowledge, to examine the effects of the five real variables on real housing prices.
